About VDV Lubricants

VDV-Lubricant-HQVDV Lubricants is specialized in the manufacturing, distribution and sales of lubricants used for different applications mainly within, but not limited to, the glass industry. It was established in 1998 by acquiring the know-how from the Belgian independent lubricant company Van De Voorde. This family-owned company had a long history around oil business and, since its foundation in 1818, has been successful in building up a solid reputation among its local and worldwide customers as well as suppliers. In 1976, the company decided to diversify its business and became exclusive distributor for the European market of Non Fluid Oil USA (NFO) products, such as lubricants used primarily in the textile and glass industry, silicone compounds used in electrical engineering and airline lubricants. In 1995, Van De Voorde purchased the licenses from NFO for the glass lubricants, started up production locally and expanded its sales of the glass lubricants all over the world.
